Grab your helmet and your bike and join the Dixie Divas for their second annual "Revvin' 4 Research" poker run for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama.


The Dixie Divas are an all women's motorcycle group started in early 2008, and is surely becoming Alabama's largest female riding club that focuses on giving back to the community by partnering and sponsoring local charity events.


"Breast Cancer is something that touches all women in some way. Whether it is you, your mother, sister, friend, aunt, cousin, niece, daughter or granddaughter, this disease affects all women's lives. This is our way to give back and fund research. We need to change our future", says Sherri Simmers, Founder, Dixie Divas Riding Club.


     October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the Dixie Divas are dedicated to making a strong contribution toward a cure. Please join us for a great time, a great ride, and making a great stand against breast cancer! Poker Run stops confirmed are as follows: Heart of Dixie Harley-Davidson, Big 1 Motorsports, Pub 261 and Rider's Harley Davidson and the ending party will take you back where you started at Presenting Sponsor "Heart of Dixie Harley Davidson".


The cost of a single rider is $30.00, and you will receive a commemorative T-shirt, poker card and directions for all stops at check in. Riders and passenger will be $45. Each person will receive a t-shirt and poker card.


Don't Ride? You can purchase a t-shirt for $15 or, for just $10 you can join us for the "End of the Road Party" at Heart of Dixie in Pelham. The party will include entertainment, food (provided by Texas Roadhouse) and a cash beverage station. The final checkpoint entrance at HOD, will offer raffle prizes, silent auction, prizes for best hand, worst hand, best tattoo and best bike. Local vendors will also be at the party with merchandise and information for the riders.
